Virtual Romance!

Facebook is an unstoppable beast, set to reach 2 billion monthly active users by the end of 2017. As a quarter of the world now uses Facebook, love is forever being formed on the social media platform!

Long distance relationships are a common practice on Facebook, especially when you have a great messaging service like 'Facebook Messenger'. However convenient online dating may be, some ethical questions must be asked of this arrangement.

There have been rumors that certain couples are using 'Facebook Messenger' to perform virtual intercourse via the face-time feature. By all means a couple can do what they please, but should 'Facebook Messenger' be used in this manner; and how is it even possible to perform such an act?

'Likes' For Lust!

It's a well known practice that certain female models, such as Amber Rose and  Kim Kardashian, use their body to attract male Facebook users. Over a period of time, female models can accumulate millions of "likes" on Facebook, from male users who have developed real feelings (lust) towards these celebs.

Of the millions of "likes" received from these horny Facebook users, can these models be guilty of creating a climate of lust and superficial love on social media?

There have also been cases where Madonna's home was breached by an obsessed fan (Robert Hoskins) in 2012, who followed her every activity on online, and literally stalked her Facebook account.

Conclusion

  • Facebook has 25% of world's online attention!
  • Couples use Facebook to make love via 'Facebook Messenger'.
  • Models like Kim Khardashian cause men to lust on Social Media.
