The Phallus - a psychological term denoting Masculine Power - has now over and extended itself by transcending the male gender, and now inhabits the female. But why?

The Postmodern Phallus?

In recent years, the woman cried out for revenge against the perpetrator of her 'penis envy' - the man. Thus, she sought refuge in the campaigning of equal wages. She realized that real power was not in being equal with men, but earning more money was the absolute power, thus negating the biological role of the man - the breadwinner. Consequently, the woman conceived this ideal to be the perfect revenge against patriarchy, or she thought.

The Postmodern woman?

Now that women are able to be more successful then men due to better opportunities and higher wages in our postmodern age, is this the icing on the cake? Is she really happy with a scenario, where she has children later in life, works longer hours then men, and conducts manual labor roles that men were once known for?
