Blockchain | A Technology of The Future

The main event isn't bitcoin. It's using the blockchain to disrupt other industries and Wall Street. -  Patrick M. Byrne

The Bubble Misunderstood

In the year 2017, Bitcoin went from $900 to $20,000. This in all of it's speculation, was a bubble - but for the wrong reason. The public were fed propaganda that Bitcoin was the new monetary system, but they were missing one piece of the puzzle. The thrill of Bitcoin was it's underlying technology - the blockchain.

If you asked the majority of people who invested in Bitcoin leading up to the $20k bull run, "What is the blockchain?", the answer would all be the same - a speechless person. With all investments, due diligence and informed research is tantamount. I mean, someone has to say it - why invest in Bitcoin if you don't know what blockchain is? For most, people still holding Bitcoin haven't even heard of the word "blockchian" (This is not an exaggeration).

The raison d'être of Blockchain

Blockchain's sole purpose was to advance and transform the human civilization into an era of Artificial Intelligence. From Finance to Healthcare, and Education to Entertainment, the blockchain's role is to make society run more efficiently, with the aid of robots and machines.

The blockchain is what electricity is to a city, but for machines.

What about the Humans?

Well, this is both an obvious and obscure question. The best way to answer this question would be to cast your minds to Darwinism, and ponder upon the "survival of the fittest". The human beings that have the best capabilities of survival in a society run by robots will survive better than those who are less capable. It's unfortunate, but look at the current world we live in, inequality still abounds.
