Hi There!
Few shots taken recently during short walk by the Gim lake.
After strong frost (until -20 Celsius) the surface of the lake froze. The ice wasn't very thick - something about 3 cm by the shore - so way too weak to walk on it...
By the beach I found few ice floe with beautiful ice crystals on the bottom side.
I wish I had macro lens with me that day. I tried to photograph these beauties with my wide lens - results are not the best but I hope You can see the details and tiny ice spikes.
Interesting stuff - I love such icy creations and I posted a lot of such beauties in the past.
