@phototoken project. You might have seen the following comment:
Basically, this project was created because the photo token and tribe on steem never switched over to hive. There was also major dumping to the market from the main account.
This project is similar: Except it's on hive instead of Stinky Steem!
There will also be more community involvement, quality content and no large dumps! We will teach the community how to build cameras, develop film, use digital cameras etc. We will also host competitions!
But aren't there lots of photo competitions already?!
Everyone who hosts a competition can earn 100 PHOTO tokens!
For the past several days, I have been rewarding #photography users 5 PHOTO tokens manually: Leaving a comment.
Users responded well; thanking us for the PHOTO tokens! However; this account ran out of Resource Credits from leaving so many comments. We can't post anymore! Clearly comments alerting users of the manual rewards is not sustainable.
Clearly commenting on every post that we reward isn't do-able right now. THIS IS A GOOD TIME TO JUMP TO A SUPERIOR SYSTEM. Eventually we will have our own tribe front end. FOR NOW we are developing a WHITELIST and a DELEGATION REWARD SYSTEM.
THE WHITELIST.
Instead of manually rewarding #photography posts and commenting: We will be creating a WHITELIST of photography regulars that silently rewards users 5 PHOTO tokens once per day.
Think of this as a linear reward system to build your eventual voting stake for the tribe front end! 5 PHOTO tokens a day represents your daily average payout with X amount of stake.
