Why I have to be a dictator:
I have to be an anarchist and piss on the Canadian Bill of Rights because I like to think or at least I like to pretend anyone I don't agree with is an anarchist.
I wouldn't have to be a dictator if people would just let me do whatever I want uncontested, it's their own faults for having views I call unacceptable.
Enemies of the people. The people I call my people. The people who actually call themselves my people. The imaginary majority that always agree with me, conforming to all my ideas like water in all my prescribed containers.
I always have the moral high ground, because I like to pretend I do. As a consequence, not agreeing with me is always wrong.
Play the same song on the radio enough times, and people may just be convinced a bad song is a good one. Works for me within a certain margin.
Thinking? Sure people are free to think, the way I want them to.
Do you THINK people are suppose to think? For best results, no answer is the best answer to that, because you'd be thinking. I've already done all the thinking, so nobody else has to.
If I was too big on thinking, I wouldn't be making all this money doing what the World Economic Forum tells me to do.
