My five favorite pictures of sunsets at the beach I've done.
Last week I was reviewing my photographic catalog, I was surprised to observe three hundred thousand photographs stored in ten years of work. Sessions, weddings, advertising, nature and landscapes all stacked in folders with dates. Of all of them, the beach photographs are the ones that I protect most affectionately, probably because the sea is the place where I most connect with myself, and therefore they are the photographs that I most enjoy taking. Of these images, there are five that are my favorites and today I want to share them with you.
Sunset in the estuary of the Pochote river, a wonderful place, the peace and quiet of its waters contrasts enormously with the intensity of the waves and the tide that moves a few meters away.
Playa Hermosa in the Pacific of Costa Rica is one of the favorite places for surfing. Its excellent waves and beautiful landscapes make it a mandatory place to visit in the country.
Again in Pochote beach, you can see the thin line of sand that separates the sea from the estuary, the tide is rising and soon both bodies of water will join in one.
One of the most recommended experiences when visiting Costa Rica is to cross the Gulf of Nicoya by ferry. It gives you a very broad look at one of the main coastal areas of the country. However, making the trip at dawn or dusk becomes a unique spectacle of nature.
Last but not least, a sunset at Playa Jacó, another of the most visited beaches in Costa Rica, where the mist and mountains that merge directly from the sea create magical silhouettes bathed in warm colors.
