It was 2 years ago when Photocircle was first initiated in the Steem network. It wasn’t the first photography-related curation project but it is one of the longest running up to date. And now that “Community” feature is already rolled by Steemit, the Photocircle initiative is more motivated in delivering its vision:
“To provide support for the Steemit photographers through our daily manual curation.”
And now that the community feature has materialized, we wanted to add to our vision the goal to create a platform where photographers can share their work and connect with like-minded photographers as well.
The Photocircle community will also serve as a funnel for photographers outside the Steem network to be welcomed and be provided with the necessary support.
We are still very fresh on the use of the Community feature and so in the next few days, we will lay out a progressive plan on how we can effectively implement our vision for the steem network.
In addition, we are also open for collaboration with other communities in the success of the steem network!
Lastly, let me share this quote from Tim Fargo:
”Who are you tomorrow begins with what you do today.”
Before we end this post, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the supporters / sponsors for the Daily photo contest rewards.
- @mariusfebruary
The Photocircle angel supporter who has delegated SteemPower to the@photocircle account to support the daily contributors. The SP delegation will also speed-up the growth of the project and enhance the upvote rewards to the daily winners of photography contests and for the future additions to the Photocircle program.
- @vortac
The lifeline of the Photocircle project, he was the very first supporter of the project that reinforce the daily contest with his generous upvotes. Aside from Photocircle, he is also a proud supporter of projects by the name of @curie, @steemstem and also an advocate of BOINC & Gridcoin.
Stay tuned for the next edition!
With appreciation,
Photocircle team
