My busy bee is back! However, it's too evasive this time. I only managed to take a photo and then it flew away. It's not focused well and so it's really frustrating.
In times like I wish I brought a bowl of water with sugar with me. Take note that this technique is only good for the short term only. I would spray these on the flowers but it's not really advisable since it could do more damage than the benefits that it would provide. The best practice is to put the bowl next to the flowering plant to attract the bees.
Did you know that bees are mostly attracted to the colors purple, blue, and violet? According to studies, bees are most attracted to them because most of these flowers produce more nectar. Bees will exert more effort on locating purple flowers since it will be more efficient for them in collecting nectar as they require less travel frequency.
Also, bees can detect colors much faster than humans. It makes sense because they are visiting hundreds or thousands of flowers each day and so it's the skill that they need to be more efficient at what they do.
