Thank you for your thoughtful approach Gabriela but in fact, Prague was not affected by the recent floods at all. Just like most of the Czech Republic. The worst situation was in the region where I live, unfortunately. Approximately one third of my city was flooded, thousands of houses were destroyed here. Some cities, towns and villages here in the Silesian region suffered even greater damages. It´s heartbreaking. On the other hand, the solidarity coming from the other parts of the country has been amazing and it gives us hope that we will be able to rebuild our region again.

I know that there were floods in your country too and I hope that you and your family are ok.
