You have the numbers right, it´s mostly 70 cm wide while the narrowest point is just 50 cm wide. That´s also why a couple of (not so thin, let´s say :D) tourists have already got stuck in there and they had to be rescued by the firefighters. But slim people like you and your friends can enjoy this special place without any concerns :)
