Haha that´s a funny story :) Well, I know that you guys in Poland like and respect our beers very much. When I lived in Krakow, I would bring some Czech crafts to our Polish landlord, he was so happy :) About my age, cool dude. He would get me some Polish crafts in return and I must say they were all excellent. Even some of your supermarket beers were not so bad. They were generally stronger than ours. I think Warka or Perla or Kasztelan were really strong :)
