I finally got to this post... So you just visited Krakow again? Yay! I love this city and miss it so much... You even made it to the Zakrzowek Quarry, that´s nice :) When we lived in Krakow, we went there very often. It was an amazing natural place. It looked like this:

Now, after the reconstruction, they promote this place as "Polish Maldives" and I must say it does look really cool, even though the original charm of wild nature has been ruined by the reconstruction. Btw the place is now massively promoted even in our media:
And I´m pretty sure that many Czech people will go there, especially as long as as the entry is free. I mean here in my country, the entrance fee to such a beautiful place would be at least 15 dollars per person... But no surprise for me that the quarry is still for free. When we lived in Krakow, so many amazing places, events etc. were free of charge. Here in Prague, you have to pay for everything. One day, they will charge you for breathing here too :D :/ Be glad that you live in Poland my friend...
