Awesome photos of these magnificent creatures. In the past, the European bison lived in my Czech homeland but unfortunately, they were hunted to extinction here in the medieval times. Now there is a little nature reserve where a small population of the American bison is kept. The reserve is actually called "Česká Kanada" which means "Czech Canada" :) I haven´t been there yet though...
