Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
Welcome to my D-Tube Wednesday series where I share my videos taken at interesting places that I have visited during my travels.
Today, I will take you to one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the Mayan Riviera and possibly even in all Mexico - the famous Tulum Beach.
Once one of the most important religious and cultural centers of the ancient Mayan civilization in Mexico, Tulum used to be known as "Zama", meaning "the place of the rising sun" in the old Mayan language but these days, the town is mostly known for two things - the ruins and the beaches.
If you are interested in the Tulum Ruins, you can check this post that I published on my blog some time ago and if you are a beach lover, you better click on the @dtube link above to watch the video that I captured on the Tulum Beach, the longest and most popular beach in the town ;)
I took the video more than two years ago (soon after we arrived to Mexico for the first time) and I had no idea back then that I would be vlogging on Steem one day so please excuse the not so good quality of the footage. I should also add that the beach might look very differently these days because of the seaweed problem that I wrote about in this post.
I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, stay tuned for the next episode of my D-Tube Wednesday series. Thank you @dtube for allowing us to share our videos with the Steem community.
Thank you for visiting my blog. If you like posts about #nature, #animals, #traveling and discovering secrets and beauties of the #world, feel free to follow me as these are the topics I mostly write about. Have a wonderful day and keep on Steeming!
