Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
I am going to skip my regular Sunday photography series today but I have a very good reason for that :) As you probably know, our beloved coin and blockchain is celebrating its first birthday and that surely deserves some extra attention.
I cannot believe it has already been a year. What an exciting ride it has been. It seems like yesterday that we were fighting so hard for our old world that was attacked and besieged for long weeks. That incredible tug of war that was taking place on the top witnesses battlefield must have been one of the most epic and memorable community uprisings in the history of crypto. Those who took part in it surely remember, those who joined us here later have probably heard of that heroic resistance of our community from many posts written after it. It was just fascinating to see such a strong wave of unity and dedication with everyone from the tinniest minnows to the largest whales lined up side by side, determined to protect our world that we had been building for years from the malicious attackers who would stick at nothing and even use coins stolen from exchanges to complete their hostile takeover. But those times are long gone. Our ferocious effort gave some smart and skillful brains from our community enough time to prepare a hard fork that was implemented successfully and since then, we have this beautiful place called Hive where moved to straight away and found a new home. After the fork, we pretty much started from scratch with a brand new coin and blockchain that were yet to earn the respect in the crypto world but I am just so proud of what we have managed to achieve during the first year. There have been so many amazing projects, apps, initiatives and efforts created, built and born on our new chain and I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has been a part of the process. We rock guys! It´s been an astonishing year for us and I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish in the next one :)
