Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!

Times really flies and we have Sunday today again, which means I am coming with another golden hour contribution to distract your mind from anxiety and worries of the harsh times we are experiencing now.

This time, however, I have to use an old photo because the island where I am spending these tough times just adopted a very strict safety measure that allows us to only leave home if we need to buy food or medication.

In my opinion, this measure is a bit extreme here because the island is very sparsely populated and it´s not a problem at all to be outside while fully isolated and socially distanced but we have to comply with what the government wants us to do so... no more outdoors for me and no more fresh photos for you :(

With that being said, let me share a sunset photo with you that I took in my Czech homeland in October last year. I guess it was one of the last shots I took there before relocating to the Azores.

It has been almost a half a year since I left my country for another nomadic adventure but to be honest with you, it feels really weird and sad to be thousands of miles away from your family and friends in these unprecedentedly difficult times. Sure, thanks to all those modern technologies, we are in touch on almost daily basis but you know, it cannot and will never compare to actual physical hugging and seeing that your beloved are alright.

Talking about the quarantine, I haven´t managed to get any support for my latest Hive onboarding challenge and since my own upvotes are barely attractive enough to motivate people to contribute to my regular challenges and giveaways, I doubt the onboarding initiative will get any response, even though I made it easy by translating the text of my own onboarding campaign and making it available and free to use for anyone.

Another thing that contributed to my current melancholic mood is something I actually kind of expected but still hoped it wouldn´t happen.

Yes, I am talking about the latest dirty move by the new Steem "management" that just implemented a soft fork that froze Steem accounts of many renowned and dedicated members of our community.

I don´t know the details of this thing (and I think I don´t even want to know) but I heard it was the largest accounts (in terms of SP) that supported our old community witnesses during the hostile takeover who got their accounts frozen by the fork.

So basically, these guys just did their best to protect what was ours and they ended up not being able to access their accounts and wallets now... I don´t even know what to say. Just makes me so sad and angry. I just hope karma gets you one day Justin. I am sure it does.

Sorry for being so negative today guys. It´s not all roses ans sunshine sometimes.

Stay safe and healthy.
