Well El... You missed train on YouTube a bit, should have started with me around 2009 XD 700 million views, it's basically all about the easy search engine and get real on-board. Then it will flow well. Either if it would die, something else would take it's place, and we can see that there is no other platforms that has gone through so much as this place has, it's a little bit like Bitcoin, that had much craziness happen the first couple of years, but that it actually made it stronger in the long run.

I think this place may have a similar effect. Even though there are never any guarantees, but I don't see any platform right now that is even close to Steem. 2018 was a disappointment, many teams promised so much they could not deliver on

Because Steem already has had all the drama, it's something that people have then experienced, while a competitor would have the drama one more time most likely. Which would take many years. It's same as all the Bitcoin competitors that can't even come close to the original even when they fork. Because they haven't proven themselves. And how with video we can piggy back on YouTube + get all the Crypto benefits.
