It's January, which means gardeners are dreaming of gardens and warm weather while we're holed up indoors. So naturally, I'm sorting out my seed box. Anybody want to seed swap? Or just want some seeds?
Of course I haven't bought these recently, so they're not packed for this year. But generally I plant out of a packet for years and they're usually fine!
I have available some I've planted in the past but am allergic to now so I can't really use them:
Lettuces: green "summer crisp", red "ruby", and green "black seeded Simpson"
Sweet corn "delectable"
Peas "green arrow shelling"
Two packets of VERY old seeds that I somehow never even opened and am totally allergic to now, so you're welcome to see if any of them sprout: Turnip greeens "seven top", and Cowpeas "california blackeyed #5" (both packed for 2001! That is not a typo! LOL)
Some I want to use a few of but being that I plant in pots and they're enormous, I can only use so many:
Cantaloupe "Hale's best" and some nonspecific variety, Cauliflower "snowball X", pumpkin (jack o' lantern and Connecticut field), and artichokes "green globe improved and purple of romagna".
If you'd like to send a Steem or two to cover postage, that would be groovy, but if you don't have it, I'm not worried about it.
I'm in the USA. Let me know if you'd like some seeds! <3
Some marigolds that grew this year out of a packet packed for 2001, I think, so not impossible. LOL
