What a great skill to have! Mending a shoe is hard work. I didn't know there were special shoe needles but that makes sense. I have tried mending a sandal strap before and it was HARD getting a regular needle to go through (it was either leather or fake leather, the strap, I don't remember). I should have had a shoe needle!
