I'm glad you got to a place where you figured out what you really wanted and what really made you happy, that's awesome!
Now that you say this, I did have kind of a "bounce" moment, but I didn't think of it in this way so much because the big shift for me was getting diagnosed with a bunch of allergies and radically changing my diet to avoid allergens. This diet change caused me to drop six sizes (it's wild what allergies can do... ). I did bounce back up one size for several months, but recently I have begun to settle back down again into the smaller size (generally if I'm retaining water I'm the larger size, otherwise, the smaller size). I did kind of get worried that I would gain it all back when I bounced up a size again, but nah, my body was just finding its new equilibrium.
That being said, my arms are the one place that got bigger with muscle, and I ripped a few sleeves and popped a couple of buttons on short sleeves, which made me feel like the Hulk, so I wasn't mad about it. LOL.
