He scared the piss out of me because I had let him out on the balcony and he was sitting on the ledge (which he used to do, but doesn't anymore). He began STARING INTENTLY at something over the side, and I started to head out to grab him because I was afraid he would do that Highrise Syndrome thing cats sometimes do where they get so fixated on prey they take a flying leap off a balcony or out a window without anywhere safe to land.
No, he didn't jump. He just swiped down and came back up with A LITTLE BIRD IN HIS MOUTH.
The poor thing was tweeting its little head off in terror. I got him to drop it, and he looked at me like "what the FUCK, hooman?!" but the bird flew away so it must have not been hurt (I hope so, anyway). I gave Yuan treats to apologize for my rude hooman ways.
Maggie doesn't go out on the balcony and is declawed in the front (I didn't do it, she came to me that way), but she's the one who took a Miller moth out of the air for me and ripped it apart.
I have skilled hunter kittehs! <3
