The history of robots has its genesis in the early ages. The advent of the industrial revolution led to the development of modern innovation, which allowed the use of complex mechanics, semantics and then subsequent introduction of electricity. This allowed to operate machines with small compact engines. At the beginning of the 20th century, the notion of a humanoid machine was developed. Nowadays, we can imagine robots of human dimensions with capacity for almost human thoughts and movements.

The first uses of modern robots were found in huge industrial factories as industrial robots: to help boost productions at faster rates compared to human efforts as well as lift/move heavy equipment. Robots that are digitally controlled as well as industrial robots that use artificial intelligence have been built since the 2000s.

The advance of robotics have only been beneficial to the manufacturing industry majorly because of how expensive it is and thus have no meaningful impact in the day-to-day lifestyle of human. This is one of the of the challenges hindering acceptance and spread of robotics in the global world. Some of the challenges are:

  1. Very expensive and slowless observed in robotic applications: This include (a) Insufficient foundation and abnormal state reflections for robot programming. (b) Absence of open platforms and advancement devices to quicken development. (c) Most explorative advancement is bootstrapped and not bolstered. (d) Capital subsidizing is just offered to vast scale or already developed ventures
  2. Absence of good interfaces and deliberation layers for programming, electrical, and mechanical frameworks.
  3. Moderate turnaround, high essentials, and poor interfaces from "conventional" makers.
  4. Absence of instruments, semantics, and strategies to share parts of outlines in appropriated form.

As a result to these challenges and more, are reasons why the expansion of the robotics industry has been very stagnant. To enhance open innovations in robotics, KAMBRIA is set to eliminate any challenges within the industry and promote the evolution of robotic technology globally.

Kambria is the first blockchain project to build an open innovation platform this allows and encourages collaborations in R & D, production and marketing of advanced technologies with a focus on AI and Robotics applications in the consumer space.

With a mission to stimulate innovation processes by enhancing cheaper, faster, accessible development and endorsement of robotics technology, KAMBRIA platform will use the blockchain technology and crypto-economics on it's ecosystem.

KAMBRIA PLATFORM
Built on the blockchain technology, KAMBRIA will introduce cryptocurrencies into developmental cycle of robotics. Introduction of crypto-economics are advantageous to KAMBRIA platform in the following ways:
(1). Exploit network effects to add compelling technology. (2). Give intermediation for end-to-end robotics investment problems. (3). Provide economic incentives to investors. (4). Recognise and report violations of legal rights to reduce the effect of "free rider" and (5). Achieve an extremely small barrier of entry to allow individuals and small groups to collaborate.

KAMBRIA TOKENS
KAMBRIA platform will be supported by it's two unique tokens called KAT and Kambria Karma. KAT is an ERC20 utility token deployed by KTI (Kambria Token International), embedded on the standard smart contract of the Ethereum blockchain. KAT unique function is to be used as payment for all forms of transactions on the Kambria Platform as well as reward incentives to stakeholders.

On the other hand, Kambria Karma is not an ERC20 token but a non-tradeable entry ledger for KAMBRIA wallet addresses as well as been used to monitor workdone by stakeholders on the Kambria Platform. In addition, Kambria Karma is awarded for active participation and given as incentives to encourage useful work
