ALGEBRAIX - Smart Contract Capability

INTRODUCTION

Algebraix is an Austin, Texas-based company that has developed a secure, permission-based ad platform called ALX. The platform allows users to monetize their personal data by selecting the information they would like to make available via advertising networks in exchange for a compensation. The Algebraix platform is fueled by its own ALX cryptocurrency that lays the foundation for a new data economy.

As blockchain technology growth and acceptance over time, it has become very clear thag the blockchain technology will overtake the Internet. In doing so, it will revolutionize every aspect of the human existence, such as: computing; in government, in the corporation, in the cloud, on the desktop, on mobile devices and even in the nascent Internet of things (IoT). This technology revolution will bring profound changes, impacting the individual, businesses, commerce, government tax and regulations and et cetera.

THE ALGEBRAIX PLATFORM

The ALX Platform Algebraix intends to build its own blockchain platform, although its going to be developed on an existikg blockchian technology. Currently no blockchain provides all of the capabilities the ALX platform needs. These include:

1. Need for just a single token.
2. Proof of stake consensus
3. Smart contract capability
4. Anonymous transactions
5. High throughput (scalability to above 1000 transactions per second).
6. Low transaction costs.

Some of these capabilities will be built from cratch since none of the existing blockchain technology got it all. IPFS will be our preferred file system layer for storing data. We believe this to be a good fit to our algebraic approach to metadata (alternative approaches will be catered for as needed, for example where data is stored on other ledgers). Points worth noting about IPFS are that:

1. Every file can be found by human-readable names using the decentralized IPNS naming system.
2. Each IPFS file and all blocks it contains are given a cryptographic hash (unique fingerprint).
3. Each IPFS removes duplications (across the network) and tracks version history.
4. Each network node stores only files it is interested in along with indexing information that can be used by the algebraic metadata catalog (to figure out what is stored where).
5. When looking up files, it asks the network to find nodes storing the content behind a unique hash.
