Welcome beloved symbolic explorers
I suspect this may be one of the first Tarot Tuesdays to hit the internet this week, with the New Zealand time zone being where it is. It's 10:53AM as I sit down to write this post. Much love everybody it's going to be a beautiful day (or night).
The structure this week is a bit different, my intention is to play with our notions of how this whole thing works. In essence, it's intuition, and translation. So let's dive in and have some fun.
(these cards are from the Morgan Greer deck)
You've got options, you are a powerful creator with choice
So what will it be then?
Blue Shiva, the feather - Light and subtle realm, how can we take flight?
Green Circle, "Dratini"- Potential, a young dragon, what can it become?
Red Shakti, Stick / Stave - Energy and effect, actions and intentions that create waves.
You can choose one or two or three of these, it's really up to you. I will give my message for each. They are long readings, so you won't be short changed by going with just one card ;)

The Cards
Three options give us three outcomes, what do these energies have to say?
Blue Shiva - Feather
0, The Fool, Nothingness, Beginning, Potential, Possibility, Freedom
On a quiet walk through a large clearing in the tall trees, you decide to stop and take a seat on a large stump. As you rest you quite naturally come to a state of peace and contemplation. And it is in this state that a sparrow lands on the stump in front of you, looking directly at you. It seems an odd thing for a bird to do, and it doesn't seem in the least bit afraid. A voice comes into your head.
"Bird nation welcomes you to take to the air at this time. All times are one time, yet we acknowledge and honour your progression through separation into wholeness, this too is an aspect of the one time. If you have been caught in the trap of circular thinking, guilt, emotional debt or any heavy feeling that occupies your heart space - then now is the time to shake it off like a wet dog. Be free my children, be unashamed - you are forgiven and you are whole, you are pure and you are innocent. Let go completely, and be the child once again. Bird nation sends many blessings and good medicine to you.
There may be tears, tears of joy and tears of sadness. Welcome the tears and welcome all emotions, let them fly on the wind like so many feathers. The cosmic wind is always passing through and right now it is strong. We invite you to use your hope and freedom like a sail, come along there is much to experience and expand into.
HAVE FUN, but take this lightly as well. There is lightness in everything - even chores and work.
As linear human beings we feel so obliged to so many things. In essence we feel an obligation to yesterday, to consistency, and also to the persona. Know now that yesterday does not exist, so be free today. Know that the static identity is an illusion, in truth it is always changing and without change it causes great pain. Our identity is our vessel, and with it we can create a reality. The bird nation sends many blessings to you and reminds you to hold the identity very lightly, like it was a tiny feather.
How can angels fly? They take themselves lightly."
Before your eyes the bird begins to grow very large. It morphs from a tiny sparrow into a huge white swan, hopping down from the stump it turns around and raises its wings. You intuitively know what to do and you gently hop on to its back.
Running forward on huge legs, and beating its massive wings, the great bird takes flight within two to three beats of its wings. The bird starts ascending with you clutching to its feathery back. You are heading further and further up, and now you are very high off the ground. You feel safe on the soft back of this huge bird.
Risking a peek over the side you look down at the world, and it's beautiful. As if just by taking some distance could put everything into context. You reflect on how deeply involved in your life you had become. As if everything was so critical and important. As if your little story had somehow eclipsed the totality of everything that is.
With a big breath in and out, your whole body relaxes, and your awareness relaxes into the vastness all around you. You feel open and easy, and so grateful. Gratitude comes through strong, tears come to your eyes and your heart lights up. You sniff and smile quietly to yourself.
'big bird' speaks to you again through direct thought.
"Feel this open-ness, feel this lightness, this is you my brothers and sisters. This is us. We are unified, we are expanded. We are all a part of this cosmic wind. It is enough to know this vastness, it is enough to know this spaciousness. Be the space between everything, be the emptiness that connects all of the pieces."
You float off into the sky with no way to know where is next, and you really don't mind. Relaxing into the soft white down, you feel a great 'okayness' with life, and you know on a deep level that the cosmic wind will take you where you need to be if you can lighten up and let it be easy and natural.
Green Circle - Young Dragon
XIII, Death, Change, Transformation, Alchemy, Magic
Weary from a long journey across the plains and through the hills, you slowly make your way into a hillside cave so that you can find some rest. You feel a great urge to rest, the feeling is that a lot has been going on, big things that your mind is not privy to. It's not an easy life being an adventurer, but it's certainly not boring. Now is a time to quaff a healing potion, reorganize your inventory, and decide how to level yourself up for the next quest.
Inside the cave all is quiet, and you crawl into the darkness, it is warm and comforting. You drift off to sleep and it is a deep sleep that pulls you down and down through heavy earth to the very womb of the world. Skeletons cackle at you as you fall down, laughing in their undeath yet knowing nothing of life.
Finally landing in a great cavern you are confronted by the form of a huge dragon whose scales shimmer with a blue green iridescence. The dragon eyes you speculatively then gives a great roar of laughter which is accompanied with a jet of blue flame that conveniently shoots over your head and doesn't incinerate you.
"Welcome mortal, you have come for secrets I assume?"
You can only stare on, unable to move. Part of you is afraid, part of you is excited. Your body is tingling and a shiver is running up your spine.
"Well then, let's not beat around the bush, I have much to tell you"
"You have a bad memory human, because unlike me you have forgotten a lot about yourself. You see it doesn't matter that I hold the form of a great dragon, and you that small bipedal one. Because that form has a great capacity to perceive and to know, and most of all to experience.
Great power lies at the base of the spine. You would do well to meditate on this, and send your breath to guide that hidden treasure. When a volcano erupts is destroys some things, but only because they stand in the way of building a whole new land. You are that volcano, when was the last time you roared?
How apologetic you manlings are, always in debt to some system. It's really funny watching how it plays out, and eventually one or two crack on to their potential. Labelled mad by the rest, they rise on their own power like the leathery wings of a dragon.
Don't abuse that body, you will need it to be in exceptional condition in order to handle the kind of power I speak of. Yes power, it has made many people go mad, and it is consistently abused. So not only the body needs to be at its peak, but the mind needs to be humbled - humbled to the nameless creator of all things, human beings and dragons alike.
If your focus is single pointed then nothing can stop you from sipping the sacred elixir. Of this I inbibe daily. You humans settle for almost nothing every day, you are grateful to be pushed and pulled around by the least intelligent. I don't advise you to be a force of chaos, I merely advise you to find your own power and quietly inhabit it with balance. Like I said, you can hardly hope to allow that power through with your attention always called to your strange habits, and your petty bias.
You know it's coming human, don't you? You can sense this big energy coming can't you? Well if you've been paying attention then you know it's more accessible than ever to all humans, it's just a matter of choice. PAY ATTENTION manling, everything is guiding you to this knowing, everything is showing you the way. Humble your mind and be still, the way is open. Be the greatness you were born to be.
Now begone!"
In the dream you are blown backwards by a great gust of dragon breath. You wake up immediately, breathing hard. The cave you lie in is briefly lit up with a great blue flame. Now it is stillness again, and you are left with a vague sense, a tenuous thread to follow with your subtle senses. CHALLENGE: The game is on so it's time to play along and find your true life. Be intense, your intensity will destroy all that does not serve. Your inner fire will burn away all obstacles to the truth.
Red Shakti - Tiny Stick
V of Wands, Testing, Clashing, Playing, Chaos, Friendships, Liveliness
Sitting in the back yard of your beautiful homestead on a quiet afternoon you feel a little frustrated today. You are scanning about the many trees and plants, looking for something. You don't know what you are looking for but you know you are looking. This could best be described as a certain restlessness. Something inside you wants to come out and test its self against the world.
Quite by accident you notice something staring up at you from the bushes, a set of elfin eyes that blink slowly. At first startling and then a little amusing you connect the eyes to the body of a small 2ft high creature who looks to be made of more wood than flesh. The little person gives you a cheeky grin and emerges fully into view.
Gesturing with one leafy hand you are beckoned to follow, and with this restlessness in your heart you gladly head into the woods. Movement is all that matters, you feel no need to know how or why, you just want to move.
Moving quick for a small creature, you are forced into a light jog to keep pace with this little woody thing. Adjusting to the pace of this trot, your whole perception of the trees and roots begins to change. Constantly shifting and changing, it is more a pattern sliding past you than a collection of individual objects. This is strange, it's a little like being in a dream, but it's compelling too and you are enjoying this elevated breathing and heart rate.
Sweat comes and it feels good. You are sweaty and running through the woods and you don't know why. There is a certain rhythm to it as you automatically clamber over tall roots, and duck under low branches.
Ahead of you the small creature starts so slow, and coming up behind him rapidly you find yourself in a circular clearing which allows for a good amount of light. In the middle of the clearing is a fire pit that burns contentedly, and around this fire stand a circle of beings each stranger than the last. One is a huge skinny man, with silky blue skin. Another is a rotund woman who seems to be made of rocks. There are others too, some with wings and some made out of leaves. Some are definitely not from this world, yet they are here all the same.
The small creature that led you here runs in and takes his place in the circle, holding hands with the two creatures on either side of him. Glancing back at you, you get the idea of what needs to happen - so you also join this circle in the one remaining gap, gently taking the strange hands to your left and right.
Seconds after completeing the circle a hum begins, as each being opens their mouth to make a sound. You join in, not wanting to offend anyone. And together in this circle you all hum along for a few breaths, and then fall silent again.
Then the music starts, and from the edges of the clearing large bipedal animals appear. A bear is playing a huge drum, a fox with a flute, a parrot with a strange xylophone. Others too with instruments you can't name, and some just whooping and hollering.
The feeling is ecstatic as the circle breaks and each creature begins its own dance, slowly at first, then gradually getting into the grove of it. What can you do but follow suit? It starts awkward and mechanical but eventually you find your dance without thinking - by doing it.
Pretty soon this scene is very lively indeed, these dances are just plain mad. Some are very odd, some are astoundingly beautiful, some are just plain lewd. There's no judgement though, because each dance seems to represent something true. Through the dance each one expresses themselves, and before long each begins to interact with the others spontaneously.
Some laugh and play together and others tussle. Each pairs finds its way to relate by doing and paying attention.
You dance and dance until the light fades and it is only the fire that illuminates the movements all around you. And then suddenly it stops, and all return to the center for a final hum. Just as quickly as it had begun it seems to be over, and these strange beings depart in all directions through gaps in the trees. Somehow you find your way home, it's a little scary but you trust yourself. Something has changed, and you feel that this restlessness has a purpose, to connect us to other beings and to experience a great spectrum of difference.
There is no need to know why, there is only here and now, there is only spontaneous inspiration. We may crash into something by following our whims, but if we keep it playful then it may be just the right meeting at just the right time.
When was the last time you danced in the super market aisle? When was the last time you struck up a conversation with a beggar? Go on a take a risk, this life is a grand opportunity, let's not waste it by being afraid of an outcome. Trust, be, and most important do. Who know what a playfully planted sapling can turn into?
Thank you so much for joining me for this reading, comments and feedback are most welcome.
Much love, oneness, and truth to you all
