For everyone that was curious about this distribution, the first one arrived on March 1st as promised without a hitch.
This is a cryptocurrency project I've been quite interested and excited about. I went on an on about it in this post here if your curious. I'm not going to repeat that background stuff here but if your interested check it out.
My first distribution was 511 coins, currently valued around $8, certainly not enough to retire but still quite sizable and this is planned for every week. I do expect it will go down as more people sign up, but the currency is also very new and think it will raise in value when they get the communities and charity features up and running.
Full disclosure, I did receive bonus coins since I have made a few referrals and there's a bonus associated with each referral. I reached out to one of them to ask just how many coins they received and looks like it was 43.862, which is currently valued about $0.75USD. Once again not enough to retire but not a kick in the teeth either! I've signed up for airdrops or did much more cumbersome things for much less and remeber you will get this amount every week.
There is a two stage process to sign up and then register for the Universal Basic Income distribution. A few referees had some trouble and there were some delays with international sign-ups but the emial support was quick the help if you have any snags.
I think this is an exciting cryptocurrency project everyone should take a better look it.
