Human neurons formed a circular structure in a Petri dish as a result of my forgetting to add a cell-friendly matrix. I made these neurons from human induced pluripotent stem cells.
In green is a staining for tyrosine hydorxylase (dopamine neurons marker, these neurons die in Parkinson's disease). In red is staining for FoxA2 gene and DNA is in blue.
