The back of my bed was damaged, so I decided to modify it. Remove the legs from my back and use the back of it.
The materials I used were the following:
Leather fabric
nylon thread
large baking needle
soft drink caps
foam rubber
filler
plastic
silicone
We are going to measure and mark all the points where we are going to place our buttons.
With a drill or brimmer we are going to open the holes where we mark the points
To make the buttons we are going to take the number of covers equal to the number of holes that we open behind our back.
We remove the threaded sides of the drink cap with an exact or a knife.
Then we put the nylon thread to make our button and we finish covering it
We place a square filling a circle of our leather fabric or the one you use for your back, and with a silicone you seal the entire contour of the fabric to our button
Place button by button, with our large sewing needle, on the other side of our padding we tighten it with large knots to prevent our button from loosening.
It is very important that the button is pressed as much as possible in the padding so that it makes the pronouncement of the fattening in the back.
I made this modification with satin fabrics to give you the step-by-step demonstration. But generally the fabric used for this type of furniture is plush or leatherette.
Now with our staples and the help of the wood stapler machine, we are going to staple the fabric on the back of the back, always stretching the fabric very well so that it is without wrinkles and looks smooth.
