2 Timothy 3:16, All scriptures is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. We can only work towards attainment of perfection when we give ourselves wholly to God's word.
We can share the following lessons together ;
we are likened to as tree and any tree that isn't fruitful is not relevant to the kingdom. John speaking in Mt 3:10 " and now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees ;therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Jesus also speaking in Jn15 ;2“that any branch that bears not fruit is shall be cut off ". In Revelation, Christ says because we are neither cold nor hot that HE will spu us out of HIS mouth.
The Holy Spirit is not a dove neither is HE a clove of fire nor a wind, they are just symbols through which HE chooses to express HIMSELF. Even at that, the Holy Spirit can choose to present HIMSELF in whatsoever form HE pleases. All we need is just to be sensitive in the spirit.
No man receives anything except it's given him from heaven Jn3:27 and for a man to receive from heaven then the heavens must first be open. Mt 3:16"and when Jesus was baptized, went up straight way out of the water and lo, the heavens were opened unto HIM and HE saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon HIM. May the heavens be open unto us all, amen.
Fasting and prayers doesn't exempt us from being tempted by the devil. Infact, in such moments, he would even want to ensure that we fall knowing the benefits that follows when we stand firm to the end of the exercise.
The depth of the word of God in us is what determines the outcome when the devil confronts us with temptations. Jesus was rich with the word of God. Col3:16 " let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom....
Christ didn't perform any miracle until HE was anointed with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is responsible for the demonstration of God's power. HE can also use us when we avail ourselves.
The Father is more interested in the souls of men. The first thing Christ said to them was for them to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand, Mt 4:17. Proverbs 11:30b"he that wins a soul is wise. Mk16:15"go the into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 2 corinthians 4:3 “but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost".
