I'm not in favour of projects using the posting reward pool to finance themselves, so that adds another hurdle.

Personally, I don't work for money but to create something, so a baseline would be covered. But I can't work out the algorithms all by myself for example, and when we add a front-end to the mix the amount of coding necessary just demands for more developers to get involved.

I failed once bringing a project that big (well, actually it was bigger and required more external knowledge than now) to life here, because I couldn't find contributors. That's why I started posting about it now, to see if there's positive feedback from people who would be able to help.
I'll definitely keep dabbling on it for a while now, and long term has to be seen.
