What are you doing here when you don't support the ideas in the whitepaper?
It's easy: if I think your work gets too many rewards from the pool which is thought for all authors, I can downvote it and give those rewards back to all the others.
If you don't like that and think your ideas about steem are better, engage, become a witness, get enough votes and convince the other witnesses that the whitepaper is bad, and that we should abolish downvotes.
