Weekly Challenge.png

Greetings, Splinterlands lovers!

It's Challenge Time!

This is my first attempt at a "Share your battle" challenge and I hope you will like my battle and find my strategy useful.
First off, I like the Haunted Spider because I'm a Death deck lover. The cards don't drain your mana too much, cheap to rent and quite effective. The Haunted Spider I use often due to its range of attack and poison damage. Who doesn't love double carnation )

THE BATTLE

BATTLE CONDITION

Mana Cap: 32
Rules: Lost magic
Elements used: Earth, Dragon, Life, Death.

This battle insight:

After I saw my opponent using melee attack, I immediately thought to use my Zintar Mortalis summoner card, which gives -1 melee attack to all enemies and to use the Haunted Spider directly after.

BATTLE FORMATION

1st POSITION

imageedit_10_894866745600000000000.png

I picked Dark Ha'on as my tank because he has Taunt and flying abilities which give chance of avoiding melee and range attack, and provides opportunity to back-line monsters to Hit, which was what I needed in this battle.

2nd POSITION

imageedit_12_57363952010000000000.png

Spineback Wolf fit perfectly in this battle due to his Reach ability to attack from second position and having 6 Speed.

3rd POSITION

imageedit_14_767542491700000.png

Skeleton Assassin This is my usual pick due to his high speed and sneak ability. Plus, he only costs 3 mana.

4th POSITION

imageedit_17_835967120900000000.png

Our Weekly Challenge - the Haunted Spider. As I did say previously, I love this card for its low mana cost, range of attack and poison damage it can do. The only thing to keep in mind is its low speed. So, try to put a Taunt as tank. This will be a winning combo.

5th POSITION

imageedit_19_3162086698000000.png

I like to put Centaur in the back line to target the Ranged and Magic attack monsters. Only 4 mana and decent stats at this level.

6thPOSITION

imageedit_21_40178414840000000.png

Picked this card for its snipe ability. With the previous card it was a good double attack power in my lineup, because of his 3 range attack, 4 speed. Costs only 4 mana, too.

Conclusion:

The Haunted Spider's poison helped me get rid of the Flesh Golem opponent tank. 2 poison attacks and the self-healing ability did not help that one) I will repeat again, it's a bemeficial card to use, with low cost and can be quite effective with the right strategy.
