My journey in crypto started about 6 years ago when i had the hobby of numismatics.. saving actual coins. My kid brother said to me "you know what coins you should be saving? Bitcoins". And there sadly the journey ended.. or posponed. This year a friend reminded me and i started looking into it.. what a shame right?
As soon as i understood the workings of the blockchain, i was like set on fire.. to this day i get so amazingly happy when i read about a complete disruptive project and there are so many to choose from.
Also alot of periods have passed allready.
Fomo of mining, ico's, pump and dumps, masternodes and so on. I havent any of those yet luckily. Pump and dump sounded off from the beginning tho i shortly entertained the thought of manipulating the markets.. the part that seemed off is that it totally woulnt fit with the feeling i got from crypto. Instead of empowering, it would leave people behind and thats nothing like me. Untill now i have invested my modest savings and that alone was such a ride untill now. Ofcause i have felt the sting of current times and thought about cutting my 'losses' a couple of times but then i reminded myself of some great advices i had : never invest what you cannot afford to loose and only invest in projects you really support and want to support for a longer period of time.
This has put me at ease and even in a downtrend i can still greatly enjoy the projects i revieuw. See, to me the potential profits are fine ofcause.., but i think the real gifts are the changes we will see. The disruptive movements that will make our world more honest and give the poorest people a shot at a good life aswell as improving the lifes of everybody. If you dont think this is possible with this new technique, just research some more ;)
