As an "older" member (not so old... lol) I like to see these kinds of posts... The view from new members about this place! Personally, I have forgotten how it was when I have started and it's important to get feedback from current newcomers...

I know that some things are simplified today (imagine how it was earlier...:) ), but it is still a bit overwhelming as you said... So, take your time and absorb information slowly...

We have built a really supportive community on CTPTalk, with Discord and Telegram groups where everyone can get info from the first hand, question responses and help... ;)
