I heard some questions from my fellow Hivians, like, will you continue doing these 1K power-ups the next year too? As everyone else, I do have my doubts in things on Hive, and in crypto in general... But, in the end, the rules of this "game" are simple, and as time passes, they get simpler and simpler... IMO, we have a huge opportunity to build things with (and IN) crypto, solving some real-life issues by using it in a "proper" way... What does that mean? We shouldn't copy Web 2.0 things, but we should rather flourish OUR WAY, as if Web 2.0 was working well, we wouldn't even exist!
I know that things aren't black and white, but there should be a line... You are part of the problem, or you are the solution to the problem! I don't want to be part of the problem, and you?

I'm repeating myself over and over again, but that is needed as we are making the same mistakes over and over again... Sometimes we are AWARE of them and do them deliberately for some short-term gains, killing the bigger picture... Other times, we are lured and tricked into making the same mistakes by others... So, I found that there is a need to repeat certain things...
Do you care about decentralization? If you do care, why do you centralize your stake by delegating your HivePower to big whales? That's how you turn yourself into the part of the problem... You have all the tools to grow, to be yourself, to take your "destiny" in your hands, and you decide to give that decision to someone else? Sorry, but that's not how decentralization works...
Do you care about this chain and do you want to see better distribution of tokens and better decentralization? Then go out, buy some HIVE, and power it up! Or, invest some of your time, create quality content, bring value to the HIVE, bring value to someone who reads your content, earn rewards, and stake them!
Start from yourself! Don't wait for someone else to power up his HIVE and upvote your post... Be that person yourself and upvote others who are doing a great job here! You, me, our friends, we can be the change... That's why I power up my HIVE every single day... I believe in you... I believe in us...
If you don't like what you see, where HIVE is directed, grow your stake, and be the person who decides about that direction! So, I think that this answers the question from the beginning about my powering up in 2024!
