Yesterday, I went to the shopping mall with a goal on my mind... I didn't buy sports shoes for over a year and it was time to buy one for "special occasions" 馃槀 When you are working from home, you really don't care too much about what you wear and I'm one of those people... I was joking today that, when summer comes, don't need clothes at all... More money in the crypto savings... 馃槀

But, I do like to go on my daily walks, so I do need some shoes... Yeah, people do go in slippers these days (and almost the whole summer), but I like to do "offroad routes" and it's hard to go to the mountain in slippers... So, the idea was to buy something cheap, but still OK for my daily walks... I don't care too much about different colors, current fashion trends, specific brands, etc... It's important that the shoe is comfortable to wear, that will last at least 2-3 seasons, and that's it...
I don't want to go into the prices as it will be another 1000 words rant, but in general, the prices are doubled compared to 2-3 years ago... I'm not a financial expert, but if something costs double, that's not an inflation rate of 2% per year, but rather 33% (if I go with conservative calculation for 3 years)... Anyways, I digress... So, my goal wasn't set too high, it was simple, isn't it?
And I found one that was in my budget and ticked all my requisites... I bought them yesterday, didn't have time to try them until this morning... and to my surprise saw this...
Can you see what's wrong with them? 馃槀
I really didn't ask too much... The bar was really low... And even with that, I didn't successfully fulfill my goal of new sneakers... Okay, if you didn't guess what is wrong with them it's time to tell you... The first thing that I have noticed is that they are different, but you can't see that from the photo... Brand letters are bigger on one than another and also, and the front side is also different and actually visible...
Now, differences are sometimes good... Especially when you get one left and one right shoe, but that wasn't the case this time either... 馃槀 I got two right-foot shoes! Maybe when you pull 2 the same shoes means luck? Maybe I will win the lottery? 馃ぃ

I had to share this funny story, but it's time to go back to #MyHiveGoals... In the beginning, let's check out HiveStats...

After the #HivePUD and that week's report, every progress looks insignificant compared to the 1K power-up... 馃槂 But, the truth is that steady progress is always better than "sudden"... It sticks better and it last longer... So, I like it... Consistency led me to this point and I'm sure it will lead me further too!
In the last 7 days, I have accumulated 164 Hive Power, again under my weekly goal, but still not that bad... The curation rewards should go up as time passes by as I'm adding more HP, and it should catch up a bit... No hurry, still close to my goals...
Regarding my LEO Power goal, I put a bit more tokens on the side this time, so 64 LEO tokens have been added to my stake... All in total, I'm close to 19K LEO Power, which isn't that bad at all... 6K to my yearly goal... Price of LEO slipped a bit more down, and if it stays there, or goes down a bit more, it will be easier to reach the goal!
GAMING GOALS - Flexible Goals
I was right in the last report about the Rising Star card numbers being off... It was a small bug that was calculating (or better said not calculating) newly added cards to the collection... It is fixed now and we can see the "real numbers"... It says that I have 9977 cards which means that I will hit 10K cards during the next week!
When you get some token/asset ultra-cheap, it is hard to pay more for the same thing later on when the price goes back... That happened to me regarding the GLX tokens... I bought some under 0.033 HIVE, and the price pumped up after the news about packs opening... As it was a few days ago, the fomo is almost behind us and the price is going down again... and I'm waiting... 馃槂
Something similar happened with the price of packs too... It has also gone up, but there is a chance that it will go down too... Especially as pack staking is coming to the end (less than 2 months, I think), and people will be tempted to FUD and sell them cheaply... And if the game launch is postponed, it could be a great opportunity to buy some ultra-cheap packs... A lot of speculations, but I'm waiting patiently...
In the last 7 days, even with fewer purchases than I planned, I have accumulated a bit under 4500 tokens!
