I am far from coming from a fallacy of sunk cost. Weighing the costs of stopping aid versus continuing, I see the cost of leaving Ukraine to the wolf as being massively higher than supporting them. Not to say that support should be indefinite, but this country has made its decision, and it is way too early at this point to consider changing it. With Ukraine managing to keep Russia in check so far, a collapse of support would be bad for all, except Putin. Not just now, but for decades if not centuries to come.

It is those things, and it is a dangerous balancing act to maintain a status of lend-lease/proxy war. But I believe that removing support is far more dangerous.
