Yeah one of the small ones. I don't have a lot of experience with metal detecting but the one time I did it, I used a pointer. Without one , you'll end up digging a lot more and possibly still not finding the metal the big one detected. And using the pointer is more fun than the big guy, because it lets you home in directly to the metallic whatever in the soil.
