This picture of me is a very special picture in regard to the adventures I've been doing the last number of years...
There's a whole epic story behind it which led to me significantly changing how I look at certain aspects of life... Sometimes what you think is a wrong turn can take you interesting places!
Looks like this was back in December of 2020, also I was wearing the backpack a lil low/wrong cause I didn't know what I was doing, lol... But, that sure was an awesome backpack!!
The main reason I'm posting this pic today is because my friend has notified me that the metal detector has been delivered! :) A new phase of my life and a new level to these adventures is here, I'm excited!
Once again I don't wanna get my hopes up or anyone else's hopes up, maybe we won't find much of anything... Though... I feel a bit optimistic due to my research of the area.
And... At the least this will just answer a lot of questions and let me know if this is a good direction to try to go in. That means a lot to me after wondering for so long... Plus ithe detector could also help us find good locations for actual gold mines as well? And that's one of the higher goals/ambitions to work towards.
Which reminds me... When I was fighting for my life in the hospital with botulism... Dreaming about finding gold was one of the things that inspired me the most!
I remember fantasizing about finding nice sized nuggets and just being so happy and dancing and making money and getting my life in better order...
It would be awesome if something like that happened, yet... Even if we don't find any gold in our area where I think it might be, I do know some other spots that are reported to be high in gold nearby over around Prescott and down towards Phoenix a lil... So, worst case scenario we can always plan an adventure to those other places and hopefully find enough to at least pay for the detector!
A lot of this is unkown since neither of us have done it before, I've watched a lot of videos on YouTube and have looked at maps and done other research and stuff, but... We just won't know what we are dealing with until we get out there and find out.
We're going to try to meet up in a few days when it cools down a lil bit.
I think he wants to just look for lost jewelry closer to civilization and stuff first, but before too long we should be out looking for gold and other treasure like meteorites and other cool stuff!
This is worth celebrating! And... I just so happen to be going to eat Thai food and watch Beyond Skinwalker Ranch with my parents later. :)
