Flying a Let's Go Brandon flag or sticker or T-shirt seems much more acceptable than a Trump or Q flag. It doesn't have to be a partisan issue. He's failing at being anything more than a polarizing non-leader.

What might happen with Qanon compared to Miller and other prophecy cults in history is very interesting. I hope it won't have the same kind of persistence of Millerite derivatives. I'll reinforce that hope by reminding myself that cult was built on top of a religion taught to them since they were toddlers. Q could be said to be built upon the American religion, but the American religion does not have an element of prophecy or second coming like Christianity.

Any comparison with history can't take into account what we have today in terms of internet communities. It's what enabled Q to infect the minds of millions of people across the world. And through the echochamber effect might have a solid hold on millions until they die. And while some might fall out of the fold, the relative ease of access to these communities might keep it growing indefinitely.
