Narcissus a beautiful flower
The narcissus are now blooming everywhere and one would like to finally bring spring into the house with cut flowers.
But beware !!!
The mucus or juice of the narcissus is poisonous to other cut flowers kept in the same container.
You can still keep them in the vase with other cut flowers, but there is a very simple trick.
Tip:
As with all other cut flowers, the narcissus should always be cut at an angle. So that the narcissus does not release its mucus to other plants in the vase, the stem ends of the plant should be sealed.
What does sealed mean?
Sealed, which means that you simply hold the freshly cut stem end of the plant under hot water for a few seconds, done:-)
