I was thinking about what song to work on to participate this week. What I did know was that I wanted to sing a bolero. I listened to several before deciding. In the end I selected "Sombras" (Shadows), lyrics by the Mexican poet Rosario Sansores and music by Carlos Brito from Ecuador.

I invited my friend @sayury to my house to accompany me playing the guitar. Saludos, comunidad, otra semana llena de entusiasmo por parte de todos los hivers que vibramos con la música de manera especial. La segunda semana del concurso vibes.


Estuve pensando qué canción trabajar para participar está semana. Lo que sí tenía bien claro era que quería entonar un bolero.

Estuve escuchando varios antes de decidirme. Al final seleccioné "Sombras" de Sombras, letra de la poetisa mexicana Rosario Sansores y música de Carlos Brito de Ecuador.

Invité a mi comadre @sayury a mi casa para que me acompañara tocando la guitarra. Saben cómo es el proceso en estos casos: el vocalista entona el canto a capella en la tonalidad que le quedé más cómoda, luego el instrumentista busca en que tono se canto, se oreoaea para acompañarlo con los acordes pertinentes y comienza el ensayo.

Nos sentamos en la pequeña. oficina de casa como.nuestro "centro de operaciones" y comienzo a cantar:
