The weapon debacle
To license or not to license.
Why are there so many firearm issues globally? Well I personally think that firearms have never harmed anyone, has the wrong people used firearms to harm others, it's a no brainer really.
A few tips on preventing some of the many issues surrounding firearms.
If you are an enthusiast and want your kids to learn about firearms, teach them all the good and bad on the subject. Safety first and a healthy respect for the dangers of firearms. If you're a parent that allow your kid to get away with whatever because you're too scared to be a parent, don't let them near one of these.
There is a very big problem with allowing people of a young age to possess a firearm as there are many elements in the equation. They are dealing with bullies, which should be dealt severely and no kid should be bullied to the point of feeling they have to kill someone to feel safe, social acceptance and or lack thereof, psychological disposition due to an unhappy family life and or relationships, to name but a few.
Up the legal age to possess a weapon to at least 18 and do not make it easy. Mandatory competency training, character witness interviews and and stricter application pass rate.
The above will also help being stricter on handing the wrong adult a firearm license, it won't stop nut's, but makes it a little more difficult to get their hands on.
Some simple ideas to start with that may make a great difference.
Can you guarantee the cops will always get there before the perp does his nasty business, no. Can you guarantee you can keep all the nasties off the streets, no so understand why I'd rather have and not need than need and not have, I live longer and so does my wife.
