Biking memories 1 was set around my first 50cc Suzuki and the fact that I had to learn to ride a motorcycle from a manual and using common sense. I had the little bike for about nine months and got great use out of it. Soon I would be old enough to get a licence for something bigger though.
Sadly the first girlfriend I had at the time of the 50cc moved onto someone else as my interests changed and she thought that I would at some point break her heart and no amount of convincing I tried to do did the job so off she went.

Took me three days to find a evening and weekend job at an Italian restaurant as a waiter after deciding I wanted a bigger bike.
So I started my new job as a trainee waiter and quickly found out that being a good waiter is hard work and if you want good tips you have to be very nice to people apart fro getting them what they want quickly. I got the hang of it though and also found a new romance at the first job which was a massive bonus. Now Nicole was a looker of note and two years older than myself so this didn't sit well with my mom, but it carried on anyway.

Now looking to power up from the 50cc was okay, but I did decide to be cautious and didn't want to get irreparably damaged jumping to uncontrollable power either and didn't want to blow a budget I didn't have. So I tracked down a gentleman in his early fifties that had a lovely Suzuki GS450

The price was a little more than what I had, but he had looked after the bike really well so I had to find a buyer for my 50cc quickly and the part time job would pay in the difference. Well I got the 50cc sold for cash and had talked the gentleman into letting me pay him off for the 450 over four months. The bike was a pleasure and just enough more power to wet my appetite for more power, but that had to wait for a while. In the meantime the new job & older brunette with her blue eyes and bob haircut kept me plenty busy apart from school and looking after my mother.
That brunette called Nicole was a mind opener of note I'll tell you.
