If you check and look close you will observe that these maize plant beared ear corn and maize cub but there are no seeds on it. I wonder what could be the reason why this maize plant didn't bear seeds.
Normally, it's the tassels which the male reproductive organ of the maize plant that usually pollinate the female reproductive organ which is known as silk through the process of pollination.
According to my research from proper agriculturist, I was enlightened that when there's no proper pollination process this may cause the corn seeds not form or develop. This maybe due to the fact that, the tassels blew pass the silk flowers to develop which may eventually cause Maize Karnel abortion.
