The Rio Grande or "the gorge" as everyone in or near town calls it. Was built in the '30s replacing the narrow and dangerous switchbacks, Created by the local native tribes and Settlers. The Bridge is roughly 600 feet above the ground which makes it one of the largest bridges in the united states, the number is up or down until an official measurement is taken. It is unknown how many take their life by jumping but it's estimated to be over 25 with 10 coming from 2013-2016. Bighorn sheep travel around the gorge and leaving small trails for us to follow after a fence. The bridge has hosted movies including natural born killers, Terminator salvation to name a few.
