My Actifit Report Card: March 18 2023 - walk around the lake

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

Today we took a little trip to the small lake called Bundek, located in new part of the town (Novi Zagreb). Or should I say, newer part of the town since it was build after WW2, in the 50s. Ok most of it was built in the 80s and onwards, but its newer then town core which is almost a thousand years old.

As I was saying, we decided to take a walk around the lake, all seven of us - wife and me, and our five kids.

It's not a long walk, you can get around the lake in less then half an hour, but when you're in company of young and restless kids it can take "a bit longer".

First, they had to see the drawing from the children's book "Hedgehog's House" (Ježeva Kućica), a famous Croatian kids fable in the form of a poem. Our kid number 4 simply adores it, he knows the words of the song by heart. 😍

Then they had to throw some pebbles into the water. I think they could do that all day long without getting bored. I remember I was like that too. 😇

During all that fun, our youngest one was sleeping in the baby carrier my wife strapped him into, without any signs of interest about all the fun happening around him. 😴

Then they spotted some ducks and a swan on the other side of the lake so we had to rush there so they can see it upclose. Of course, when we got there the swan was already half way to the other side. 🤣

They were feeling sad so we had to cheer them up with some cake and ice cream in the nearest ice cream (pastry) shop. Sweet end to a beautiful day.
