V Rising - Attacking our new enemies [ENG - ESP]

Today I want to share a short video of what our raid was like on Saturday and Sunday (17–18), one week after our first raid.

Some stuff happened on the server. Our enemies never logged in again, and we spent a lot of time gathering all kinds of resources to be ready. At 8 PM, raids were enabled, and our rivals were nowhere to be found.

We could have attacked their base and stolen all their stuff, but using our resources with no action didn’t make much sense. So we decided to raid another enemy base where all the members were online, which guaranteed a great battle. Unfortunately, things got complicated, but it was still very exciting.

I'm leaving you a video I just finished a few minutes ago. I tried to edit it from the moment everything happened and post this on Monday the 19th, but for some reason, my editor started malfunctioning. I couldn’t even preview the changes I was making. I had to tweak a couple of things and change some settings just to be able to edit comfortably. I only planned to cut out some dead moments, but I couldn’t even do that. You’ll see us screaming like crazy, insulting each other and laughing a bit, and there’s plenty of action too.

On Saturday, we were close to winning the battle without using many resources, but @oldfool had a blackout right when we were almost at the castle’s heart. That’s the core that keeps all the structures alive, and once you reach it, you can take control of the enemy castle for a short time. I got stuck between doors because the enemy had a good setup and I was pretty dumb, honestly. Imagine this game as a kind of tower defense, you always have to place everything strategically to bother the raiders and get some advantage during the fight.

On Sunday, @brataka joined in place of @oldfool, started playing again, and finally got to experience the true V Rising. In the end, we used all our resources and didn’t win the battle. We reached the castle’s heart and just had to hold on a little longer, but it was impossible. The castle’s thralls along with enemy summons gave us a hard time, and on top of that, another clan jumped in to mess with us, leaving us at a total disadvantage. It would’ve been great to win, but we couldn’t.

This past weekend we expected to run into them again, but just like our first enemies, they didn’t log in. In fact, the server was pretty empty, and it can actually hold up to 60 players.

It was fun just for the fight itself. It really was exciting. I think with a bit more visibility and content, this game could rank among the best, and the vampire theme is just goty.

Hoy quiero traerles un pequeño video de lo que fue nuestro raideo el sábado y domingo (17-18), una semana después de nuestro primer raid.

Pasaron cositas en el servidor. Nuestros enemigos no se conectaron nunca más, y pasamos bastante tiempo juntando recursos de todo tipo para estar preparados. A las 8 de la noche se habilitaron los raideos y nuestros rivales brillaban por su ausencia.

Podíamos atacar su base y robar todas sus cosas, pero gastar nuestros recursos sin tener nada de acción no tenía mucho sentido. Decidimos entonces raidear otra base enemiga que tenía a todos sus integrantes conectados, lo que nos aseguraba una gran batalla. Lastimosamente las cosas se complicaron, pero estuvieron bastante emocionantes.

Les dejaré un video que acabo de terminar hace unos minutos. Intenté editarlo desde el primer momento en que pasaron las cosas y traerles este post el lunes 19, pero por alguna razón mi editor empezó a funcionar muy mal. Ni siquiera podía ver la previsualización de los cambios que hacía. Tuve que hacer un par de ajustes y cambiar algunas cosas para poder editar con comodidad. Solo planeaba cortar un poco los espacios vacíos, pero ni eso podía hacer. Podrán vernos gritar como locos, insultarnos y reírnos un rato, además de que hay bastante acción.

El sábado estuvimos cerca de ganar la batalla sin gastar casi recursos, pero @oldfool tuvo un apagón justo cuando casi llegamos al corazón del castillo. Ese es el nexo que mantiene a flote todas las estructuras, y al llegar a él puedes tomar el poder del castillo enemigo por un breve tiempo. Yo me quedé encerrado entre las puertas, ya que el enemigo hizo un buen setup y fui bastante estúpido, la verdad. Imagina que este juego es como un tower defense, siempre tienes que acomodar todo y posicionar las cosas de forma que molesten al que te quiere raidear y te den cierta ventaja al pelear.

El domingo @brataka se unió en lugar de @oldfool, volvió a jugar y por fin vivió la verdadera experiencia de V Rising. Al final gastamos todos nuestros recursos y no ganamos la batalla. Llegamos al corazón del castillo y solo debíamos aguantar un poco, pero fue imposible. Los esclavos del castillo, junto a invocaciones enemigas nos fastidiaron demasiado. Además, se unió otro clan para complicarnos todo, dejándonos en completa desventaja. Hubiese sido genial ganar, pero no se pudo.

Este último fin de semana esperábamos encontrarnos con ellos nuevamente, pero al igual que nuestros primeros enemigos, no se conectaron. De hecho, el servidor estaba bastante vacío, y eso que pueden acceder hasta 60 jugadores.

Fue divertido por el simple hecho de pelear. De verdad, fue muy emocionante. Creo que este juego con un poco más de visibilidad y contenido podría posicionarse entre los mejores, además de que la temática de vampiros está goty.

Espero que disfrutes mi pequeño video y que la música no te incomode. No me esforcé mucho en nivelar el volumen, pero debería escucharse correctamente, incluyendo nuestras voces también. Nos vemos en la próxima, mis boomers.
