Albion has not only brought me a lot of fun and new friends, it has also brought me some new games that I want to try with you. One of those games that a friend from the guild suggested us to play was: "Realm Royale Reforged", a free Battle Royale from Hi-Rez Studios, they are the same developers of Smite and Paladins.

@oldfool and I decided to download it to try it out together and bring you some content away from Albion, we're both pretty immersed in the non-linear MMO. Several friends have joined us as well, so it's a game I'll play casually when the situation warrants it.

My first impressions going into the game were:

Models, textures and characters are very similar to Paladins. I already mentioned that this Battle Royale is from the same creators of Paladins, but I didn't think the game had so many of the same things as Paladins.

Starts much faster than Paladins. While both take some time to start up, Realm Royale seems to be much faster in that regard.

The game performs well. Unsurprisingly, Hi-Rez games are not that badly optimized, it means you can play with fairly high graphics settings on a not too powerful PC.

Games take some time to start up if you're playing alone. Realm Royale is a game that has been around for quite some time, but the game was pretty much abandoned due to the amount of bugs and many other things that players didn't like. Currently the game seems to be slowly reviving and improving.

The enemies you shoot down will turn into chickens, it's kind of crazy, but it's a pretty funny and funny mechanic that this game brings to you. When you are turned into a chicken, you have a time to come back to life, plus you have two abilities that will allow you to attack or run away. There are many things that remain to be polished, but it's still a decent game to have a good time. There are many other things I thought of while trying the game for the first time, but those are the basics.

This Battle Royale is a fusion between Fortnite and Paladins, you can have classes like hunter, mage, warrior and assassin. These classes contain different skills and can only have weapons of their type, sometimes when you open a chest you won't be able to use the weapon it provides, since you are a mage and can't use a bow.

My favorite class so far is the warrior, a class that seems to be pretty broken. The warrior has a jump that allows you to reach enemies with ease, plus you can use fairly powerful melee weapons. In my opinion it's an unbalanced class, but I've only played this game for a day, I don't want to get ahead of myself.

@oldfool learned pretty fast and assassinated several players without any problem, I think he just got the game where he can be a real pro player hahaha. Assassin is his favorite class at the moment, he has several interesting abilities, things like stealth and being able to leave decoys to confuse the enemy.

At the moment I don't think it's a game I play too much, but maybe I'll bring them a game every now and then along with the boys. Albion no solo me ha traído mucha diversión y amigos nuevos, también me ha traído algunos juegos nuevos que quiero probar con ustedes. Uno de esos juegos que un amigo del gremio nos sugirió jugar fue: "Realm Royale Reforged", un Battle Royale gratuito de Hi-Rez Studios, son los mismos desarrolladores de Smite y Paladins.

@oldfool y yo decidimos descargarlo para probarlo juntos y traerles algo de contenido alejado de Albion, ambos estamos bastante sumergidos en el MMO no lineal. Varios amigos se han unido a nosotros también, así que es un juego que jugaré casualmente cuando la situación lo amerite.

Mis primeras impresiones al entrar al juego fueron:

Los modelos, texturas y personajes son muy parecidos a los de Paladins. Ya mencioné que este Battle Royale es de los mismos creadores de Paladins, pero no creí que el juego tuviese tantas cosas iguales al que Paladins.

El juego inicia mucho más rápido que Paladins. Si bien ambos tardan algo de tiempo en iniciar, Realm Royale parece ser mucho más rápido en ese aspecto.

Me va de lujo. Como no era de extrañar, los juegos de Hi-Rez no están tan mal optimizados, significa que puedes jugar con configuraciones gráficas bastante altas en un PC no demasiado potente.

Las partidas tardan algo de tiempo en iniciarse si juegas solo. Realm Royale es un juego que existe desde hace bastante tiempo, pero el juego fue bastante abandonado debido a la cantidad de bugs y muchas otras cosas que a los jugadores no le gustaron. Actualmente el juego parece estar reviviendo poco a poco y mejorando.

Los enemigos que derribes se convertirán en pollos, es algo loco, pero es una mecánica bastante curiosa y graciosa que este juego te trae. Cuando eres convertido en pollo, tienes un tiempo para volver a la vida, además de que tienes dos habilidades que te permitirán atacar o huir. Hay muchas cosas que faltan por pulir, pero no deja de ser un juego decente para pasar un buen rato. Hay muchas otras cosas que pensé mientras probaba el juego por primera vez, pero esas son las básicas.

Este Battle Royale es una fusión entre Fortnite y Paladins, puedes tener clases como cazador, mago, guerrero y asesino. Estas clases contienen habilidades distintas y solo pueden tener armas de su tipo, algunas veces al abrir un cofre no podrás utilizar el arma que este te provee, ya que eres un mago y no puedes utilizar un arco.

Mi clase favorita hasta el momento es el guerrero, clase que parece estar bastante rota. El guerrero tiene un salto que te permite alcanzar a los enemigos con facilidad, además de que puedes utilizar armas melee bastante poderosas. A mi parecer es una clase desbalanceada, pero solo he jugado por un día a este juego, no me quiero adelantar.

@oldfool aprendió bastante rápido y asesinó a varios jugadores sin ningún problema, creo que él acaba de conseguir el juego en el que puede ser un verdadero pro player hahaha. El asesino es su clase favorita por los momentos, tiene varias habilidades interesantes, cosas como sigilo y poder dejar señuelos para confundir al enemigo.

Por los momentos no creo que sea un juego que juegue demasiado, pero tal vez les traiga una partida de vez en cuando junto a los muchachos.
