Australia was so proud of themselves for their low deaths. The only cost was severe lockdown measures, with some people killing themselves from the depression. You can find videos online of families enraged at their loved ones succumbing to the darkness of the prison-like environment they found themselves in.

Mainstream media was so proud. Look at the CFR, the elite organization that promotes socialism-globalism. Australia was "crushing" COVID-19 with their oppression of their citizens.

Only a few deaths in various areas, but they needed to shutdown the whole country, force people to stay in their homes, and ruin lives. Great. The government made COVID-19 less deadly than the consequences of their authoritarian response.

But that just delayed the virus from working it's way through the healthy population and having hard immunity develop. Now, the alleged "early success" is blowing up in their face because they tried to oppress people to stop a virus from spreading which needs to spread for it to be over.

So after all that suppression of people's rights, look at the cases rise higher than before in a second wave that was inevitable.

This is what happens when you go full Nazi-dictator on people and ruin their lives to try to stop a virus that is pretty much only seriously harmful to the elderly and those with compromised health. Rather than let everyone get the illness and move on, protecting the elderly in the short term with lockdowns for them alone if they choose to, you destroy lives and on make things worse for everyone.

You look at Sweden, there is no second wave. They have numbers on par with the US who did lockdowns. Lockdowns are a failure. Australia now has more deaths in their second wave as a result of their draconian, dictatorial, authoritarian oppression of people:

Long live tyranny. 2020 is the year if was made fashionable as the sheep cheer it on.
